Illustration Friday - Immovable

After Dürer's Rhinoceros
One of the first images that came to mind was a very old woodcut depiction of an Indian rhinoceros by Albrecht Dürer. His woodcut and drawing were based off of a written description and a loose sketch, and he had never even actually seen a rhino. Most Europeans at the time had no idea what rhinos even were. The strength and power possessed by the prehistoric-looking creature in Dürer's art is not quite matched by the real Indian rhino. I decided to base my IF illustration off of this inaccurate, but powerful piece of art.
